San Francisco, CA, Feb 16 2010:

What

Tickets will be available starting on February 16 for Bark & Whine Ball 2010, presented by CLAW (Critter Lovers at Work), an all-volunteer support group of the San Francisco SPCA (SF/SPCA).

One of San Francisco’s favorite nights out, the Bark & Whine Ball is a special event for animal lovers and their dogs to enjoy an evening of food, drinks and dancing. The 2008 Bark & Whine Ball drew more than 700 guests and some 400 dogs. All members of the public are encouraged to attend with their well-behaved dogs.

This year’s Ball will pay special tribute to pet heroes by featuring real life examples of animals in extraordinary acts. Stories can be submitted through the SF/SPCA Pet Heroes Web page.

Who

CLAW was founded with the mission to generate support for and raise awareness of the SF/SPCA and produces a variety of fundraising events that benefit the Cinderella Fund, including the Bark & Whine Ball. Over the years, CLAW has raised nearly $900,000 for the Fund.
