
Just the Basics with a tiny twist! This beginner-level training course is tailored for dogs that weigh 20 pounds or less. This unique course covers sit, stay, come, and walking on leash with a little dog focus in mind. In addition, students will learn valuable tips on keeping small dogs safe in the city and travel training.
Frequency & Duration: 1 hour per week for 5 weeks Please note: First week is a mandatory orientation class for humans only--no dogs, please.
Class includes: Handbook and Certificate of Completion
Fees: $175 (If your small dog was adopted from a shelter or 501©3 rescue group within the last six months, fee is $150; please show adoption paperwork to receive discount).

Location: 243 Alabama Street
Course prerequisites: Dogs must weigh 20 pounds or less and be 5 months of age or older. (If your dog is between 4 and 5 months old, please look at our Adolescent Manners [1] class.) No prior training is required. Dogs must be able to be handled gently by a friendly stranger and must be able to work safely around people and other dogs on leash. You are highly encouraged to attend our free class, New Dog 101 [2], prior to the start of your first class.
