Do you have a dog that responds perfectly at home, but suddenly doesn't know you exist when outside the house? "Driven to Distraction: Tips on Motivating Your Dog at the Dog Park" can help!
In this free seminar held at Crissy Field Center, Board Certified Veterinary Behaviorist Dr. Jeannine Berger and SF SPCA Instructor Lilly Pritchard will explore why dogs become distracted in different environments and how you can maintain your dog's focus in the face of all the interesting things happening around them. We'll also explore generalization and proofing, two methods to help ensure your dog has truly learned what you've taught him. This seminar will feature a lecture portion followed by a moderated Q&A session.
Please note: this seminar is for guardians only, no dogs please.
Date: Sunday, January 27, 12:00-1:30 p.m.
Fees: Free - donations welcome. RSVP is required. Register online.
Location: Crissy Field Center, GGNRA, 1199 East Beach, Presidio, San Francisco.
