Introduction to Odor

This class advances the dog's scent discrimination skills taught in the Introduction to K9 Nose Work class. Dogs are taught to identify the first target odor of the sport: Birch, a natural essential oil. This class builds on the skills taught in Introduction to Nose Work.  Additionally, we introduce techniques and tactics for building better dog/handler teamwork. This class is also appropriate for dog handler teams working with Birch who would like to gain experience searching for Birch in a new environment.
