Youth Programs

Are your children animal lovers? Must they pet every dog and cat they see?

Well, our Humane Education department has just the programs for them! Along with encouraging and enhancing their love of animals, we aim to:

  • Enhance compassion, respect and responsibility for animals through hands-on activities and exciting, inquiry-based classes
  • Increase understanding of animal behavior by providing a safe place for children to bond with a variety of animals — and learn proper handling techniques
  • Promote advocacy on behalf of animals, so that they can use their compassion to protect and help animals in our community.
