The San Francisco SPCA Humane Education Program conducts school visits throughout the year, encouraging children to develop and express attitudes of compassion, kindness, generosity, and respect for all living creatures while helping to build a safer, more compassionate community.

How to Request a Classroom Visit
Email us the following information:
Program: DOG TALK
Available to: K-8th grade
Animal: Friendly dogs
Length: 40-minute presentation
Description:
Program: ANIMAL ART PROGRAM
Available to: All grade levels (most available prior to lunchtime)
Animal: Soda, a large Moluccan Cockatoo bird (other animals available upon request)
Length: One hour interactive program (longer upon request)
Description:
Program: COMPANION ANIMAL CARE
Available to: K-3rd grade
Animal: Dog or cat, as available
Length: 40-minute presentation

Program: CAREERS WITH ANIMALS TALK
Available to: 8th – 12th grade
Animal: Dog or cat, as available
