- About Us

The Leanne B. Roberts Animal Care Center is the new home of the SF SPCA’s veterinary hospital. Our new hospital is a full-service veterinary center – we offer a wide range of services, including routine check-ups, vaccinations, and emergency care for your pet.
The Leanne B. Roberts Animal Care Center is a non-profit hospital and also houses our Spay/Neuter Clinic, Feral Fix Program and Shelter Medicine Program.
For years, our experienced veterinarians have provided high-quality care to guardians who can afford veterinary services, those who need financial assistance, and free care for homeless animals or pets of homeless people.
This translates into approximately $1.5 million in free or discounted veterinary care each year, and the Leanne B. Roberts Animal Care Center is dramatically increasing the number of animals we are able to serve — including doubling our spay/neuter capacity.
Our hospital is funded entirely by private donors, whose contributions provide a true gift to all of our city’s animals — and to the people who love them. To learn how you can help support the Leanne B. Roberts Animal Care Center please contact our Development Department at development@sfspca.org or you can donate online.

Open 7 days a week (8am – 6pm).
FREE PARKING is available at Alabama & Treat Streets.
