Meet Our Doctors

Alison Gerken, DVM, DACVB Behavior

Working with animals all day is a huge perk of my job, but what excites me most is working with people who love pets. I am deeply enriched by my interactions with so many devoted pet parents. Working in veterinary medicine is not an easy job, but the love I see for animals inspires me every day.

Kevin Pflaum, DVM Behavior
University of California, Davis
I was inspired to be a veterinarian when I was in college volunteering at a local animal shelter in rural Iowa. The conditions at that shelter were very rough, but the animals were incredibly sweet, loving, and forgiving. Seeing that inspired me to pursue a career in veterinary medicine.
