Our mobile vaccine clinic is back after an eight-month pause due to COVID-19. This vital service brings medical care to under-resourced neighborhoods in San Francisco. We have a new clinic location that allows us to see patients while social distancing, and we are now urgently providing veterinary care for animals who have gone without for many months.
The neighborhoods served by our mobile clinic see some of the city’s highest rates of preventable disease and surrender to local shelters. By offering vaccines, flea medication, access to skilled veterinarians, and spay/neuter services, we can help keep pets healthy and out of the shelter.
Before COVID-19, our mobile clinic was serving 3,000+ animals per year. Because we haven’t been able to see many of these patients for months, our services are needed now more than ever. We expect demand to increase this winter as families continue to face hardships related to the pandemic.
We need your support to continue our lifesaving work and provide care for animals who urgently need our help.
